Clara Theresa Hammett, 91, Plattsburgh, died Thursday February 6, 2020 at home. She was born in Carbondale, PA, July 9, 1928, the daughter of Charles and Hazel (Desjardins) Gailor. Memorial mass to be held later at St. John’s Church. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Arrangements by Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh.

I know Theresa sang in the St. John's Choir for many years before I knew her. I remember her getting an award for her service. I sang with the choir since the early 1980's and Theresa was always there with her beautiful voice and enjoyable temperament. She would always ask how I was doing as I struggled with lung disease. She was a pillar of the church. She will be missed in many ways. May she rest in peace. Jim and Gale Carroll
