Obituary for Gertrude Grady

Gertrude (Robinson) Grady died peacefully at her home in Willsboro with her husband of 75 years, Ed Grady, holding her hand and their three surviving children with them.
She was born Oct. 24,1925, in the town of Colonie, N.Y, the daughter of Bertha and Robert Robinson.

She was very active in the Republican Party of Brunswick, N.Y. She worked in her earlier years as deputy town clerk in the Town of Brunswick, ..

She attended the White Presbyterian Church of Brunswick and First Congregational Church of Willsboro, where she was very active. She loved her church family.

She loved gardening and playing golf. She was an active member of Willsboro Women’s League, Willsboro Beautification Committee, and library committee.
She is survived by her husband Edward C. Grady; daughter Donna and husband Bruce Roeck of Florida; two sons, Richard Grady and wife Kenya of Texas and Bruce Grady and wife Burdette of Georgia; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, three sisters, and her daughter Barbara Seholm.

There will be no calling hours. She will be cremated, followed by interment in the Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands, N.Y, at a future date.
