I first met Roger in the mid 80's . We worked together for years @ F. Scott Jay and Co. Following that he worked with me in my business for several more years . Throughout this time we became very close friends and had countless wonderful experiences with a few challenges as well . I will remember Roger as one of the toughest men I have ever met . He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him .
So thankful that Sandy came into his life and they enjoyed many years together .
Love and Peace to the Connor Family .
Love you Roger ,
Your Forever Friend ,

Roger was the best of us. Tough, fought through a bunch of issues when he was young. He and I used to “battle” one time we got out of hand and we broke the back glass door. Dad was very mad, I missed the ‘50’s dance at school over that one, and there were many more. As an adult he was ran hard and had a lot of issues back then. On July 4 ’92 we thought we lost him. But he fought through it and came back. God blessed him after that. He met Sandy and they had a good life all you had to do is follow them on Facebook to see all the pictures of where they had been. Kyle and Kaylie blessed him with Hazel. Grandpa! I got to see him in January it was great. We got to visit a couple times and it was great. I will miss him for all his kindness

Greg, Rog fought with the gusto and strength I've never encountered before. A wonderful provider for me, Kyle and Thomas. He was straight forward, honest with a hearty laugh. We had a love and marriage that was truly strong and unwavering and treasured by both of us.

When Roger worked at the Press-Republican he always made my day with his smile! When I would ask him to move a heavy box, or recycle old newspapers that I couldn't lift, he never complained. We had a lot of good laughs! I'm sure his family and friends will miss that great smile but hold warm memories in heart. So sorry for your loss, Sandy, and family. Susan Tobias
